This winch is a portable or fixed-mounted load-lifting, personal-hoisting winch used with an unlimited length of fiber rope. The captive head allows the winch to be used safely and keeps the rope from accidentally releasing. Perfect for fixed or temporary applications and rescue. PMI offers the Harken Safety & Rescue LokHead and its accessories fully boxed in a heavy-duty storage case that allows safe transport and rapid deployment. The kit includes the LokHead winch with a reversible plate, waterproof carrying case, winch handle, tripod adapter with counter plate, control lever, a PMI General Use Vari-Rigger adjustable anchor strap, and two SMC NFPA/ANSI Lite carabiners. The strap and carabiners also meet NFPA standards. The power tool adapter and a drill may be used with the NFPA-certified LokHead Winch Kit for human suspension.
